Poles appreciate the development of e-commerce in the construction industry
|
7 out of 8 Poles are satisfied with the service and support they receive while submitting online
queries in search of a supplier of the product they need or a contractor of construction services,
and are willing to recommend the service to their friends - according to a survey of satisfaction
completed by Oferteo.pl website. Satisfaction is also measured by the increasing number of
queries - 46% more comparing 2013 to 2012.
The increased number of queries was primarily noticed at construction which was the most
searched category on the website (47.8% of queries in 2013). Other popular searches were:
financial services and consulting (14.7%), transportation (12.4%) and fuel (10.7%). The survey
conducted on a group of 211 people who sought Oferteo.pl construction company shows that
although offers’ gathering was supported by various online tools, further offer selection criteria
were similar to those ones used by traditional (offline) ways.
Nearly half of the respondents paid the most attention to attractive prices (47%), company's
experience in implementing similar assignments (27%). In the area of construction - company’s
availability at the desired by customer date (16%).
Oferteo.pl website gives you the ability to contact their existing customers of a particular company
in order to acquire references or publish them online and that drew attention of 6% of people
looking for cooperation with a new supplier or contractor.
According to research carried out by Oferteo.pl website, in 2013 people willing to build a house
were looking for a company that would build them a house with no cellar, use a traditional brick
technology with ceramic tiles on the roof, with a usable area of 100-150 square meters. Report
also shows construction preferences of Poles - most of the houses were built in the countryside
and the average area of construction ground was 1000-2000 square meters.!
